LaSalle County State’s Attorney Todd Martin is being appointed as the next Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge. He will fill the position left by Judge Joe Hettel who was appointed to the Third District Appellate Court.
Martin says he is incredibly humbled and thankful to the Illinois Supreme Court for the opportunity. He will start on August 2nd and could run for election in 2024. He was elected LaSalle County State’s Attorney in 2020 election.
