By WCMY News May 23, 2022 | 11:23 AM

The city of Marseilles is getting a consulting firm. Mayor Jim Hollenbeck says the Torricelli Lobbying and Consulting Firm will help bring in businesses. The agreement will also benefit the city because of the water and sewer expansion toward Interstate 80. He says it will cost about $48,000 a year for researching grants and economic development.

He says the city had a contract with The North Central Illinois Economic Development Corp, but it didn’t work out.
The agreement starts on June 1st.
