Ottawa High School graduation will be next week. The plan is to have it outside. Supt. Mike Cushing says the first chance will be at 7pm on Friday night, May 27th. If it’s raining, graduation will wait until 10am the next morning. If it’s still raining, it’ll be held inside. He told the school board last night, with rising COVID infection numbers, an outdoor ceremony would be best.
OHS graduation was outside last year. Cushing says it went well. In 2020 just months into the pandemic, a drive-through event as held.
