Four local Red Cross blood drives are being held for the rest of this month. One is being held in Peru Wednesday at the Illinois Valley Chapter Donation Center. But as of Friday morning, there were only four spots open.
Two drives are being held in Streator. One is this Thursday at the Park Place Conference Center with eleven appointments available. The other is at Reading Township Hall on Wednesday, May 25th with seventeen appointments available.
The fourth one is in Mendota at the Moose Lodge on Tuesday, May 31st with seven appointments available. All of these blood drives were checked on Friday, May 13th, so the appointments available might have changed.
