A medical helicopter landed on Illinois 18 southeast of Lostant late yesterday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash. Lostant fire fighters cut open a vehicle to get a person out so he or she could be flown to a hospital. Leonore fire fighters were there too. And ComEd workers, who’d been working on some power lines, helped direct traffic and clear a place for the helicopter to land. One of the vehicles involved in the crash has been reported to be a ComEd truck.
