Volunteers who’d like to explore the Dayton Bluffs Nature Preserve and help identify the plants growing there can do it this weekend. Volunteer Coordinator Dave Manigold says download an app called INaturalist. It uses artificial intelligence to identify plants. Then, show up at 8am Saturday in the Dayton Bluffs parking lot.
Manigold says hundreds of plant species have been identified there already. The app will collect information and add to what’s already known.
