A Bureau County man was arrested on a warrant for allegedly selling cocaine in the LaSalle-Peru area. 28-year old Jesus J. Lopez of Kasbeer was arrested and charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance Tuesday.
Lopez allegedly sold about fifteen grams to a member of the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Agency.
The LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office was issued the warrant after a month’s long investigation. Lopez is being held in the Bureau County Jail on a two million bond but he will be transferred to the LaSalle County Jail.
