Current fifth graders can enter an art contest for a science camp. Carus LLC is putting on the 20th Carus Summer Science Camp the week of July 18th. Communications Manager JoLynn Anzelc says a contest is underway now to design the camp T-shirt.
Entries are being taken until Friday next week (May 13th). The winner gets to register early. His or her class also gets a pizza party.
Regular registration starts Monday, May 23rd. The science camp is free. The students will learn about chemistry, make rockets, and take trips to places in the area to see science in action.
