Streator City Manager David Plyman says Police Chief Robert Turner is retiring. He confirmed Police Chief Robert Turner’s retirement after the city posted on their Facebook page last week that the city is looking for a new chief of police.
Plyman says Turner is waiting to find out his pension and some more information from the police board. He says Turner’s last day could be by June 27th. Turner has only been police chief for a year.
