Only five vendors signed up for the 2022 farmers’ market in Ottawa. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jeff Hettrick says that’s not nearly enough to make it interesting week after week.
The Chamber is considering changes for next year. Hettrick says maybe it should be on just one Saturday a month. He says there are a lot of farmers’ markets in the area now, so the vendors have others to choose from and go to.
