Two students at Illinois Valley Community College are studying abroad. Raven Bridges of LaSalle will be traveling to France after she graduates from IVCC. She will take a French class and will live in a private dorm with other study abroad students. She also took two years of French in high school and wanted to go to the country for a long time.
Sabrina Belmonte of Mendota is going to Costa Rica to live with a host family and will take history courses and intermediate Spanish. She studied the language in high school and wants to become bilingual, even though she speaks Spanish at home.
