Current COVID-19 cases continue to trend up in LaSalle County. This week the LaSalle County Health Department reported 75 new cases for a total of 29,065 so far.
There were also 48 recoveries for a total of 28,343 so far. That means there are 722 current cases, which is up from 695 last week.
The Illinois Department of Public Health also says that two deaths in the county in August and December last year were from COVID-19, so they’ve been added to the death count They were a man in his 70’s and a woman in her 90’s. That means there have been 467 deaths so far from COVID-19.
