Oglesby’s plan commission is being asked to consider whether axe throwing should be allowed as a sport in B1 zoned areas. A business at 204 E. Walnut St. wants to have it. It’s zoned B1. Plan Commission Chair Ken Ficek says the options are add axe throwing to what’s allowed in B1 or rezone the property to B2, which already allows it. The Oglesby City Council sent the request to the Plan Commission this week.
