NCAT bus riders don’t have to wear masks anymore. Ottawa City Commissioner Wayne Eichelkraut says that’s following the federal court ruling in Florida Monday saying the Centers for Disease Control can’t continue requiring it. Local governments are still allowed to require masks on their public transit systems, but NCAT’s not.
For now, the state isn’t requiring masks either. The CDC is considering appealing the judge’s ruling.
