It’s at least as hard to buy a new bus as it is to buy a new car. Ottawa City Commissioner Wayne Eichelkraut says NCAT is keeping old buses on the roads longer than it used to.
The city’s trying to get in on a state buying program to get nine buses for NCAT. For now, NCAT has about 30 buses and Eichelkraut says it hasn’t had to cut services because of any that just can’t keep going.
