Parents who need to make sure their children’s safety seats are properly installed in their cars can do it during two events in LaSalle County later this month. The Peru Police Department is hosting one event from 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday, April 26th. The second is at the police station from 9am to noon Saturday, April 30th. People certified to make sure car seats are installed properly will look them over and make adjustments. No appointment is necessary, but you’re asked to go there with the child for whom the seat needs to be adjusted, if you can.
