It didn’t take as long or cost as much as Seneca village officials thought it might. River Rd. is open again. A flash flood caused part of the bridge and road leading up to it to collapse last July. The project cost $210,307 and ended yesterday when highway inspectors approved removing the barricades. Village officials thought last summer it would cost $1.2 million and take two years.
