New COVID-19 cases are still going up in LaSalle County. But this week’s recoveries outnumber new cases.
The LaSalle County Health Department says there were 76 new cases for a total of 28,990 so far and eighty recoveries for a total of 28,295. That means there are 695 current cases, which is down from 700 last week.
The health department says there was one case that was counted that belongs to someone outside of the county, so the new case count was adjusted. There was also one additional death for a total of 465 so far. It was a man in his sixties.
