Yesterday local high school sports were postponed due to bad weather.
Early this week, Marquette competed in a triangular meet in track at Streator high school. The girls team were winners over their host Streator who placed 2nd and Wilmington who finished 3rd.
For the Lady Crusaders, Individual winners were Mary Jo Lechtenberg in the High Jump and Maggie Jewett in the 800 meter run.
Relay team winners were: Maddy Howard, Jaylyn Clairmont, Keely Nelson, and Kelsey Quinn in the 100 relay, Lilly Craig, Morgan Nelson, Maggie Jewett and Mary Jo Lechtenberg in the 400 relay and Lilly Craig, Keely Nelson, Maggie Jewett and Mary Jo Lechtenberg in the 800 relay.
The Boys team finished in 2nd place. Winners for the Crusaders were Caden Eller in the high jump, long jump and 400 meter dash and the team of Nate Kuykendall, Jurnee Reed, Peter McGrath and Caden Eller in the 400m relay.
