Yasmani Grandal hit the first of three home runs for the White Sox in an 8-2 rout of the Reds in Arizona yesterday. Gavin Sheets and Jake Burger also went deep for the Pale Hose.
The Cubs play a pair of games today with split squad action in Arizona. Part of the team will face the Brewers in Maryvale, while the rest of the squad squares off with the Diamondbacks in Scottsdale.
The Cardinals lost to the Marlins 7-4 in Jupiter ,Florida. Paul DeJong smacked a three run homer for the Cards who will host the Mets today.
DeMar DeRozan scored a season high 50 points as the Bulls defeated the Clippers 135-130 in overtime at the United Center. Nikola Vucevic added 22 points and 14 rebounds for the Bulls who will host the East leading Heat tomorrow.
The Blackhawks failed to find any offense in a 4-0 loss to the Panthers in Florida. The Hawks are right back in action tonight facing the Lightning in Tampa.
Xavier held on for a 73-72 victory over Texas A&M in the NIT Championship at Madison Square Garden. Colby Jones led Xavier in scoring with 21 points. This is the second time in program history that Xavier has won the NIT.
Tonight is the final four round in the NCAA Women’s Tournament. South Carolina will face Louisville and Stanford takes on UConn. The winner of each game will advance to the National Championship Game on Sunday.
Tomorrow is the Final Four round in the NCAA Men’s Tournament. Kansas faces Villanova and Duke will battle their longtime rival North Carolina. The Championship title will be played Monday night in New Orleans.

The NASCAR Cup Series will visit Richmond Raceway in Virginia on Sunday for the Toyota Owners 400.
