The local Pooch Playoffs winner is Birdy. She won the online contest put on by photographer Annette Barr to raise money for the 2nd Hand Ranch and Rescue wildlife rehabilitation and pet rescue service in Princeton. In a social media post, Barr says the contest raised $2,000. Voting for the international champion will be this weekend. Birdie and other dogs will be considered for the title of “Ulti-Mutt” cutie.
Online voting will be at this link Saturday and Sunday.
