Aalyssa Stokes Lucas, 13, of Peru, IL, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home.
Funeral Services will be at 5:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Caster officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 – 5:00 pm prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Oakwood Memorial Park.
Aalyssa was born December 1, 2008, in Ottawa, IL, to Douglas Stokes and Mary Lucas.
She was a student at Parkside Middle School. She liked to play sports and loved animals and spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Lucas; her stepfather, Chris Yarman; her brothers, Cody (Madeline) Stokes and Jeremy; step-sister, Ella Yarman; her grandparents, Dyle and Margaret Stokes, Susan and William Schweickert, and Susan and Tom Barett, her uncle, Dyle (Kristen) Stokes JR; her cousin, Trent (Brittany) Stokes and many more aunts, uncles and cousins in the area.
