A $19,000 grant is allowing the LaSalle Public Library to offer the in-house use of laptops, Chrome books, and Tables for the public. The library says users can check-out one of the devices for up to ninety minutes while staying in the building.

But library goers will have to present a valid ID behind to check out the devices. The library says people can use the devices to sharpen computer skills, take a test, search for a job, or use one of the library’s archive of programs.

They are available on a first come first serve basis and you have to bring their own headphones. Also, a person can not check them out a half hour before the library closes.
