For the second time in two months, Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Agents went to the home of 45-year old Christopher Cunico on Ottawa’s south side on Wednesday afternoon. After he allegedly tried to run away from officers by climbing out a window, he was arrested again and charged with unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of a weapon by a felon, and resisting arrest.
Agents say they allegedly found thirty grams of meth, a loaded .357 magnum, and other drug paraphernalia. 28-year old Holly E. Hays was also arrested at Cunico’s home and charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver. They were both taken to the LaSalle County Jail.
Cunico was charged in January with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He allegedly took a motorcycle from Franklin County, IL and apparently tried to ground off the VIN number.
