Ben Weyer learned how to weld for his Eagle Scout project. The Marquette Academy senior got help making two bicycle racks now in Ottawa’s Fox River Park.
One bicycle rack is by the basketball court. The other is by the restrooms and ramp to the canal trail.
Weyer says it’s nice having the welding skill, although his career plans are in dentistry.
