Illinois Senate Republicans are backing a bill that says a governor’s executive orders aren’t good past 30 days unless the legislature is involved in crafting them. St. Sen. Sue Rezin of Morris is one of the supporters.

Rezin says it’s frustrating that Gov. Pritzker isn’t even consulting with a legislature controlled by the same political party he’s in. She wants Illinois to be like other states that reopened their economies and schools faster. Rezin talked about it yesterday through the Illinois Senate Republicans’ press office.
