Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jeff Hettrick wants to help find tenants for empty commercial buildings. He’s asking real estate agents, owners, and prospective buyers or tenants to get involved in a commercial building open house tour. The people will meet at Illinois Valley Community College at nine on the morning of Saturday, April 30th. A self-guided tour will start at ten.
Hettrick estimates about 10% of the city’s commercial buildings are unused.
