The Illinois Waterway Visitors Center will be closed next week. The U.S Army Corp. of Engineers and the Rock Island District Corporate Communications say they are temporarily closing the center at the Starved Rock Lock and Dam in Ottawa March sixth through the ninth.
Staff will be attending mandatory training for the four days. During the time, no indoor or outdoor facilities at the site will be available for public use.
