A ten year prison sentence was given last Friday to the man accused of attacking three county jail employees and leading police on a high speed chase. 39-year old Brad M. Johnson of Machesney Park pleaded guilty to aggravated fleeing and aggravated battery.
Johnson was arrested after the chase because he apparently showed a gun in a bar before he took off.
He was also accused of making a shank out of a piece of a leg brace and attacking the three jail employees. He will also have to pay $1,235 in fines and costs.
