Just like most of the state, LaSalle County’s COVID-19 numbers continue to trend downward. The LaSalle County Health Department reported only 360 new cases and 2,724 recoveries.
But the total cases count is 28,046 because the health department says there were eleven previous cases reported that belong to people outside of the county. Currently there are about 4,700 cases which more than two thousand less than last week.
But there were eight more people between the ages of forty and ninety who died after contracting the virus.
