Oglesby City Hall is looking for someone to replace Carrie Lijewski (lee-ES-kee) after her surprise announcement Monday night.
She didn’t say why she’s resigning. Mayor Dominic Rivara and Commissioner Jason Curran said they’d like her to stay and asked her to reconsider. Lijewski has been on the council almost three years, after winning election in 2019. That was her second run for the job.
