People who want North Central Area Transit bus rides have to call by telephone to schedule them. That’s supposed to change later this month. Ottawa City Commissioner Wayne Eichelkraut says NCAT is getting software to allow ride booking online.
He says the more people who can schedule rides online, the fewer telephone calls NCAT employees have to answer. And he says some customers have wanted the convenience of scheduling a ride online or with a cell phone app.
