All the maternity and obstetrics services in Spring Valley are being moved to Peru by March 15th. All the St. Margaret’s Health Spring Valley obstetrics doctors have medical staff privileges at the Peru hospital, so patients should have no care interruptions. St. Margaret’s Health says the change will make things more efficient. It’s one of the consolidations being made since Illinois Valley Community Hospital became part of St. Margaret’s Health last year.
