David Alan Bussell, 54 of Streator passed away Saturday (January 15, 2022) at St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.
A visitation will be held Saturday (Jan. 29th) from 10 am until 12 noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetery.
David was born on October 9, 1967, in Streator to Donald A. and Joycelyn (Parcher) Bussell. He married Christine Head on June 27, 1992. She survives.
Also is surviving is his daughter Anya Bussell of Streator, sisters, Pauline (Roger) Barnard of Granville, Pamela Roberts of Streator and Penny (Tom) Stimpert of Burlington, WI, 11 nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Janice Head of Streator.
David is preceded in death by his parents.
David attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1985. He attended the Lincoln Technical Institute in Chicago. He was employed at Badge-A-Minit in Oglesby for 21 years and was formerly a master mechanic at Kmart. David was a member of the M.A.S.H. (Marseilles Area Society of Home Brewers, A.L.E.S. (Ale and Lager enthusiasts of Streator, he was an award winning home brewer, a cast iron aficionado. He was also affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, darts and bowling leagues. David was great and loving dad.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to his family.
