Quilters give 17 quilts to St. Elizabeth Hospital for moms and babies

Seventeen handmade baby quilts were given to St. Elizabeth Hospital’s emergency ward last month. They were made by the Illinois Valley Quilters Guild. Guild member Beth Findley Smith says the group became aware that some mothers leave the hospital with very little. She says the group wanted to make sure the moms and babies feel warm and loved.
