Since announcing his campaign for Congress, Republican candidate Mike Koolidge has raised over $100,000 in less than two months. Koolidge is running in the newly drawn 14th Congressional district that covers the northwestern part of LaSalle County.
He says there are few districts in America as representative of the United States as this new district. He says the road to Republicans retaking the House and removing current Speaker Nancy Pelosi runs through this pivotal district.
He says his campaign is eager to continue to connect with voters throughout the district in the weeks and months to come.
He says the fundraising is impressive because he’s been the only candidate that’s been fundraising for this half a quarter. He says by comparison current Rep. Lauren Underwood has only raised about $75,000 for her first quarter.
