Former LaSalle County State’s Attorney Karen Donnelly wants to return to elected office in the Illinois House. She’s asking for the Republican nomination in the new 105th district, which will include southwest LaSalle County. Donnelly says she’ll use her experience as a prosecutor to communicate law enforcement concerns. She says criminal justice system changes the legislature made in the last few years are going to cause problems, especially without the state paying for things.
Donnelly lives in Tonica and is an assistant state’s attorney in Grundy County.
