Randy Skolek, 62, of Marseilles, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home.
A celebration of life will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, January 13 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Hefner of the Marseilles Church of God officiating. Military Honors will follow services at the funeral home.
He was born on August 6, 1959, in Ottawa, to Edward and Gladys “Phyllis” (Gage) Skolek.
Randy served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a laborer and was a member of Marseilles Labor Local 393. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and loved his family.
He is survived by his son, Steely Skolek; his siblings, Cheryl (Larry Powell) Roush, Edward (Jane) Skolek, and Cynthia Seebold; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
