Streator Police officers are getting a 2.5% raise. City Manager David Plyman says that’s a highlight in the new contract signed with the city.
It’s a three year contract. He says it was a year late because of timing issues with attorneys and negotiators.
He says there were also some changes in the language for a retirement plan that was offered.
