The Morris man accused of obstructing a peace officer back in March at the Etna Rd. Courthouse in Ottawa isn’t going to trial just yet. 29-year old Jacob Farmer was given two new charges of resisting a peace officer and battery.
Farmer says the charges were sprung on him because he says they were filed after he’d left Judge H. Chris Ryan’s court room during his last hearing. Ryan set a new court date for February 22nd. His sister Angel will also be back in court in February.
