Although it’s not as many as last week, there were ten deaths attributed to the Coronavirus in LaSalle County. The LaSalle County Health Department says that the youngest person who died was a male in his 30’s, while the rest were between their 50’s and 80’s.
That makes 386 deaths so far. There are 909 new cases this week for a total of 19,221 cases so far. There were 514 recoveries for a total of 16,143.
That means there are 3,078 cases in the county right now. The health department says 12% of ICU beds are available, which is below the 20% target for the county-level risk metrics. That’s just part of why LaSalle County is still in the orange warning level.
