One of our top stories of 2021 was the Seneca River Rd. Bridge washout. Back in July, high water washed out an entire bridge while a red truck was on it.

The truck spanned the gap after bridge washed away. Village Engineer Casey McCollom says it could cost $1.2 million and could take up to two years to fix the bridge.
McCollum says that grants to make it more affordable comes with rules.
The bridge would also have to be wider and support more weight. Commissioner Kent Weber says the project is out for bid.
