Judith A. Feddeler, 82 of Streator passed away Wednesday (December 22, 2021) at Aperion Health Care, Marseilles.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 – 11 AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Anne Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Judy was born on March 13, 1939 in Antwerp, Ohio to James and Wilda (Johnson) Gaisford. She married Lester Feddeler on May 20, 1978. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2013.
Surviving is a daughter Susan (Tom) Grigas of Leola, PA, grandchildren, Christopher, William and Alex Grigas, loving companion Tom Rice of Streator, stepchildren, Alison (Chris) Yording of Jacksonville, IL and David Feddeler of Bloomingdale, IL, step-grandchildren Colin and Quinn Yording and Erica Wilson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Les, son Randy Kates, brother James and a sister Nancy Hinkle.
Judy attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1957. She retired from Hilton Reservation Center, and was formerly employed at Fed Ex, Knoedler Mfg. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the church bell choir, Streator Leading Ladies and was active with the Streator Elks Lodge and Arlington Heights Elks Lodge and was a volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Streator Elks Lodge, Pet Project or the First United Methodist Church bell choir.
