The city of Peru is getting security cameras to help law enforcement. The police department will collaborate with Flock Safety and install ten Safety Automated License Plate Reading cameras in different areas.

Police Chief Robert Pyszka says the cameras will only be used to capture license plates and car models. He says the department is not trying to be Big Brother.
