Two tourism promotions you may have seen in this area last year were award winners at last night’s Illinois Excellence in Tourism Award program. Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau won for “Best Niche Targeting” in its budget level for the 2019 Heritage Corridor Ale Trail. And the Ottawa Visitors Center won the same award in its budget level for Local Food Restaurant Week. The awards were presented in Chicago during the Illinois Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
