After a year off because of the pandemic, the Ottawa Freedom Association is looking for volunteers to place the sixteen paintings of the life of Jesus Christ in Washington Park. President Jim Keely says the paintings are heavy. He says it takes at least four people to carry them.
Keely said on WCMY’s Morning Meeting Monday volunteers are needed next Thursday, December 9th. He says the sixteen paintings will start on the north end of the park and work their way to south side.
He says each painting will be lit and will have a Bible verse at the bottom.
