Today is a full day of basketball action at Ottawa High School in the Dean Riley Tournament. Starting at 11:30 Streator will face Marengo, then Pontiac versus LP, Dixon takes on IVC, Marengo faces Pontiac, LP will take on Streator and then it’s the Ottawa – Oak Forest contest.

The Bears snapped their five-game losing streak with a 16-14 win over the Lions in Detroit on Thanksgiving. Cairo Santos kicked a 28-yard field goal as time expired to lift Chicago to the victory. Andy Dalton threw for 317 yards, one touchdown, and an interception in the win. The Bears are now 4-and-7 and will face the Arizona Cardinals a week from sunday.
The Raiders’ Daniel Carlson booted a game-winning 29-yard field goal as Las Vegas beat Dallas 36-33 in overtime in Arlington. Dallas dropped to 7-and-4, while Las Vegas moved to 6-and-5.
The Bills wrapped up the NFL Thanksgiving day schedule with a lopsided win over the Saints 31-6 in New Orleans. Buffalo’s defense was stingy all game and held the Saints scoreless for three quarters. The Bills improved to 7-and-4 and the Saints dropped to 5-and-6.
The Bulls are in Orlando to take on the Magic tonight. Chicago has lost back-to-back games for just the second time this season and looks to avoid its first three-game skid.
The Blackhawks and Blues are set to square off tonight at the United Center. The Hawks are at 6-11-and-2 overall. St. Louis has dropped six-of-eight and is 10-7-and-2 on the season.
In college basketball action today, Illinois hosts UT-Rio Grande Valley, Mizzou entertains Wichita State, and DePaul hosts Northern Kentucky.
The college football regular-season wraps up this weekend. The Illini will host Northwestern. The Illini sit at 4-and-7 on the season, while the Wildcats are just 3-and-8.
A couple other big ten matchups this weekend: 16th ranked Iowa is at Nebraska this afternoon and Tomorrow, second-ranked Ohio State meets fifth-ranked Michigan in Ann Arbor.
