One of the judges on the Illinois Third District Appellate Court is retiring next week. Vicki Wright was elected in 2016. Her last day will be next Tuesday. To fill her spot for the next year, the Illinois Supreme Court appointed retired Whiteside County Judge John Hauptman. Voters will decide who fills the spot next November.
