Mary Gaydos
1954 – 2021
Mary Gaydos, 67, of LaSalle, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home, surrounded by family.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Leonore. Burial will be private at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home in LaSalle. Due to current State of Illinois guidelines, face coverings will be required.
Mary was born on March 15, 1954 in Streator to Robert and Edna (Krantz) Schmitz. She was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1972.
Mary is survived by her life partner, Brian Robinson; five children, Amanda Gaydos LaSalle, Isaac Gaydos of Ottawa, Kory (Ashley) Robinson of Lee’s Summit, MO, Shawn Robinson of Cedar Rapids, IA and Shane Pennington; six grandchildren; Alexis, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jasmine, Harper, and Shane, Jr.; four brothers, Bob (Joyce) Schmitz of Streator, Scott Schmitz of Springfield, John Schmitz of Chicago, and Jim Schmitz of Streator; and three sisters, Maggie Schmitz of Colona, Rita Teff of Texas, and Edna Schmitz of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gail Schmitz.
