The LaSalle County Board approved the 2021-2022 county budget. The county is expecting about $30 million dollars from property taxes.
There are also expecting about $109 million in expenditures. Finance Committee Chairman Brian Dose highlighted two parts of the budget.
It was a 23-1 vote with Kindra Pottinger of Sheridan voting against the budget and the tax levy. She declined to comment. Members Curtis Faber, Charles Borchsenius, Tina Busch, Craig Emmett and Robert Lee weren’t there to vote.
